The
TransLECS research project analyzes the impact of foreign legal cooperation measures on legal reforms in the People's Republic of China (PRC).
Thereby, the main focus of the research has been laid on German and American legal cooperation measures implemented with Chinese partners. On the German as well as on the American side, a number of governmental and non-governmental actors offers a variety of legal cooperation projects which differ considerably as far as the programs' scope, aims and strategies are concerned. In order to give those interested in German-Chinese and American-Chinese legal cooperation an initial overview of these programs, the list below comprises links to the different German and U.S. governmental institutions and their programs.
